it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything on here…

in chronological order of how things(thangs) should go down.

1. Maxwell - This Woman’s Work 

    This will set the mood. And this is more of a generational thing since most of the girls born in the 80’s have seen Love and Basketball and well…you know how effective this song is. A set the mood tune. 

2. Bob Marley ft. Lauryn Hill - Turn Your Lights Down Low

    Another mood setter but this song should be used once you already what’s bout to go down! Shall a say, a foreplay song?!. Yes.

3. Ready For The World - Love You Down

    Slow/Mid tempo song. You can’t just hit the road with the wheels spinning! You gotta let it build up! 

4. 112 - Anywhere

    I mean, you have to start somewhere and this song tells which options you have exactly.

5. Usher - That’s It’s Made For

    A little faster but still mid tempo song. And just in case she didn’t know, this song will make it certain what “it” is made for. Let the romantic intensity commense!

6. Prince - Do Me Baby

    Nothing like some Prince to get the real, real, REAL lovemaking started.

7. Robin Thicke - Sex Therapy

    Yup, I had to put this in there. (That’s what she said)

8. Silk - Freak Me Baby

   Need I say more? The lyrics speak for themselves. Just when you are lost in you are swept up in the emotions there is nothing like a song like this to drive the point home what yalls are doing.

9. Sublime - Caress Me Down

  Is it so good it sounds like you’re hearing Spanish? Hopefully yes. But if not, then it’s the song. Half of it is in Spanish. Perfect for those who love to make loving sounds. Ugh! Also a good song to begin curbing down the intensity.

10. D’Angelo - How Does It Feel?

So you made it this far? Congrats! Nothing like a song to come down to. No pun intended. How does it feel? Well it better feel great or you’re not going to feel it again! This will be the time for whispering sweet nothings or romantic reassurances— you know, if you’re into that kind of stuff.
